Carly’s coming back! Well not Carly, Miranda Cosgrove confirmed that she’s
returning to television with a new show, her first since ‘iCarly’ went off the
air. It’s hard to believe it’s been over two years since iCarly
said its final “iGoodbye.” For fans of Miranda Cosgrove, 21, she’s been gone
from their television screens for far too long! But the wait is over, as
Miranda announced she’s part of a new TV show!
Miranda gave a status update of her new project on Mar.11.
Posting an adorable selfie of her in the car, the Drake and Josh star confirmed
she started shooting her new show’s pilot episode:
“Just another car selfie. Started a new pilot today called
the Susanne Martin Project. Excited”
She’s not the only one excited! Fans are buzzing for her to
be back on television after her two year absence.
Miranda’s new show, according to Deadline, is an untitled
comedy being shot for NBC. The show, created by Suzanne Martin — the producer
of the hit comedies Ellen and Fraiser — will also star Patrick Warburton, 50,
and Carrie Preston, 47. Stars of Seinfeld, True Blood and iCarly on one show?
Incredible!
Unfortunately for all of Miranda’s fans, they’re going to
have to wait patiently and see if NBC will order a full season of the show. All
those who want Carly back on prime time better keep their fingers crossed!
Here's Miranda's tweet.
